Formal Ruin.

As someone who has an anxiety attack at the mere thought of having to dress for an occassion where I am required to resemble something of a lady.

You can imagine my utter conundrum at having to dress for not one but two!

A wedding and a Christening. Both for family members. Both requiring me to play a part. 

(queue anxiety attack)

Ideally I'm looking for something that I will feel comfortable in but will also receive the approval from my Father who 'can't wait to see what I arrive in' (great)

Kate Bosworth's Winter collection for Topshop has just been revealed

And I have to say, a tiny part of me wishes I was able to wear some of these pieces (the current 30 degree heat makes this totally not feasible)

 

The red leather trousers and metallic oversized tops are personal faves.

 

Although the collection is more streamlined and less boho than the previous collection.

Bosworth pulls it off again.

As we head into an early Spring here in Aus (thank goodness)

I'm spending my lunch times browsing the rails of Topshop 

(which I can see from my desk - torture)

looking for some new pieces to carry me through to the new season.

A long fan of the monochrome look, im delighted to see some beautiful pieces currently in store.

And as i approach my 27th birthday (how the hell did that happen?!) I can feel myself gravitating towards a more sophisticated, minimal look.

Saturday night was one crazy ass night, 

From Surry Hills to Kings Cross me and the ladies pretty much stumbled walked elegantly to each venue

I love a Sydney night out, and especially one that includes alot of amazing ladies!

I was totally naughty and bought the below leather look dress from Topshop

I love how it's not too fitted and the length was perfect.

I decided on minimal accessories and thought my favourite Zara bag was enough.
